2014 A year of challenges and opportunities for BFCSA members. Protest against the Banksters

Dear members

2014 is upon us and we face a year ahead with many challenges and opportunities. The Senate Committee hearing into ASIC is a  long overdue and much needed wake up call whereby the outcome will hopefully provide a complete overhaul of the Corporate Banking Regulator from the top executive suite and I sincerely hope a former Bankster is never put in power of such a body again.  WE also suggest to the Senators they recommend the disbanding of FOS and COSL who are basically agents of the banksters.

The much vaunted Roots and Branches investigation initiated by Hon. Joe Hockey (Australian Federal Treasurer) into the Banksters, I am less than enthusiastic about.  What was a golden opportunity to bring the Banksters back into line has been lost by the appointment of former Bankster CEO David Murray as its head. Why is he a Bankster is the eyes of BFCSA Members?  Members files contain the proof of his treachery as Head of CBA whilst these banks scams were being engineered at his level and continued for a decade or more.

What could of been an impartial and open investigation has lost all credibility by the make up of the committee and its leader. Having a majority of financial services industry heirachy on the committee, and no consumers, only causes concern because the final result at the end of the year in November will surely have the banksters smelling like roses.  Even Terry McCrann has suggested its a dud before it starts: "we now how that will end...."

In the U.K. they had the Archbishop of Canterbury on their investigation into the Banksters.  WE need a retired High Court Judge as the legal issues are everything to do with the Bank engineered frauds we at BFCSA have uncovered.

If Joe Hockey or his staff bothered to read a few Senate submissions into ASIC they would of seen a wealth of knowledge from experts who are dealing with the aftermath of the banksters greed. Joe was Finance Minister in charge of ASIC in 2001.   A rural G.P. and a chemist have outlined the mental fallout from the Banksters exploits on an unsuspecting public.

A number of rural property owners who were conned by the Banksters have lost everything, no wonder the suicide rate in rural Australia is so high, instead of trying to solve the problems on the land to assist farmers, the the Banksters are part of its root cause.

The Bankwest victims and the various whistle blowers such as Sean Butler have been telling Parliament what is truly going on in the Banking sector and its not a pretty sight.  Nor does it inject confidence in Banks.  How the financial advisers are paid and who are the PAYMASTERS, are the people Joe Hockey should be looking at.  Has anyone watched the DVD of Denise's Q & A in Parliament on 8th August 2012?  If you want a copy its $30 from Senate Media.

Anyone watching that DVD, is seeing an historically riveting moment in Parliament can only be utterly concerned for our entire banking system, by the information she delivered as head of BFCSA.  What she told the Five Senators was an eye-opener?   But her information only raised a small mention in the report.  Why?

For nearly twenty five years she has been detailing the failings of the system, why wasn't she contacted?   Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey want to be seen as doing something, they have covered their backsides by having the investigation and of cause all the failings of the Banksters will be glossed over. Why?

In just over three months the Coalition has fallen out of favour with voters, maybe it was protest votes to get rid of the last circus that put them there, regardless of your political bent both Parties have failed us over the years.  In the last few days I've seen Paul Keating and Bob Hawke on t.v. and both say they are proud of floating the dollar and deregulation and look upon themselves as saviours of the nation.  Yet deregulation caused the banks to make massive profits at our expense, throwing us into debt and poverty.  So why didn't John Howard and Peter Costello fix the problem?  They created ASIC and allowed ASIC to "leave the banks alone" they are self regulating and no chance they would do the wrong thing.................and the scams took off and were engineered in the USA in 1989 and started here in Australia in 1996........the birth of the NO DOC dressed up as LOW DOCS.  Bother were highly illegal but under de-reg the banking sector enjoyed immunity and David Murray took full advantage.  I suppose he know is angling for a gong!

Its sad to say but we now live in a George Orwell type of world, instead of big brother watching our every move its the Banksters who are in control.  WHY?  Governments of both political persuasion removed the surveillance and consumer protection laws impotent by a no prosecutions regime.  Prosecute the Brokers but not the manufacturers of the faulty product as Denise says over and again.

Remember the days you got cash in a pay packet and the only time you ventured into a bank was to make a mortgage payment or deposit money into a savings account, well those days are long gone.  Banks have become the bandits and State Police are instructed to only chase those who rob banks.

We have no choice, wages, pensions all government payments go into the banks, we now have to pay our bills through the banks and they even have us doing their work for them if we pay electronically.   We are the TARGETS.   Bank slaves until last breath. They know our spending habits by our bills and purchases, they know our earnings and outlays, they have a complete breakdown of every person's financial standing and thus can target it accordingly and even the SMSF is a lucrative target, once you take the poor bastards home you just as well take their retirement income, the complete package.

I don't know whether this is an Australian bankster ploy or whether the foreign interests who have big shares in our banks (US own 30-45%) are to blame?   But, Joe Hockey will go down in history as the politician who could of resolved the issue but blew it.

If you read this Joe, fire David Murray and his cronies immediately.

Members, we can't rely on our politicians or our useless and corrupt regulators, their record has been abysmal to date.

I suggest when the Senate Hearings commence we all show up with copies of our LAF's to hand to the media and politicians and state " here is the proof of fraud on contracts."   Why won't FOS and COSL recognise the fraud?  Why is the service calculator kept as if a secret weapon and we are not privy to a copy?  All ASIC had to do was use their powers to order the banks to hand over the files?  Then C'wealth Ombudsman Colin Neave said no.  Why?  He was head of FOS when it was ABOS......another Bankster.

Hopefully a visual show of who we all are, might just generate interest of every person/couple who is planning to borrow money from a Bankster this year and in doing so save people from the same bundle of grief we are having to endure.

I also contemplate printed T -shirts with appropriate slogans but I'm not sure if the decorum of the Senate Hearings will allow it, oldies in T- shirts are unusual as we are known by friends as a quiet law abiding bunch.  l suggest however, we can wear the T-shirts outside.  I personal;ly, would rather be be known as generation who spoke out against these Banksters, than merely accept the woefully biased decisions of the IDR's and EDRs.

But for those who go to Canberra, a photo shot with T-shirts as a unified group is the best way to get the message out there.  Denise has promised she will be there with us and stay for three days.  2014 has presented us with two opportunities:  The ASIC Inquiry into their Non Performance and the Hockey Roots and Branch Non Independent Inquiry - both will have all these issues raised in main stream media.  Its time for action this year and lots to do in preparation for each one of us.     Thanks Neil T.

Maybe the T. Shirt idea is not so bad Neil. It will show we are all committed and banded together. Tastefully done it could be a good idea. We would be hard to miss that way.

    Well said Neil.
Joe Hockey will go down in history as the politician who could have resolved the issue but blew it.
If you read this Joe, fire David Murray and his cronies immediately.

I wonder how the Senators feel about David Murray heading the inquiry??

Members, the ball is now in our court. For too long the banksters dictated the state of play from being summoned to their lions den H/Q for mediation whilst being subjected to their compliance officers and lawyers intimidating and humiliating scrutiny to being subject to the banksters hired help at FOS and COSL who have the gall to act as a regulators resolution fixers. The poor consumers who make it to court have to face off against three thousand dollar a day barristers who reduce you to a complete and utter wreck. Well I say NO MORE. The Senate Hearings are on neutral ground and no expensive lawyer can dictate what we wear on a T- shirt worn over our clothes which can be taken off as required. We have some talented and witty people amongst our members so appropriate slogans shouldn't be a problem e.g "Which bank altered my loan contract and financially ruined me"? so all you creative people start thinking and remember a little bad but truthful publicity goes a lot further than the banksters million dollar B/S publicity.
