What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

Not True!  But it should be and here is why.  Coles and Woollies have been predatory in their behaviour in pushing down the prices paid to farmers and then boast "cheaper" products but The Bully Boys C&W profit continues to climb!  We sold off our utilities, we are selling off our farms and squeezing farmers out of a decent living, we have sold off all our viable income streams and permitted TELSTRA to gouge everyone.  We have ignored small business cries for understanding and we have ZERO INCOME STREAMS LEFT.  The "lucky for some country" is what we have become.  Can we all now wake up and smell the roses.  Politicians are not on your side.......................but they do run our country.  Its the majority of we the people that need to become more vocal and active in campaigning for better decisions to be made.  Both sides of the political divide have let consumers DOWN DOWN.  We have contributed to letting ourselves down.  We can no longer sit around with "I'm all right Jack!"

I have been protesting for years by simply not shopping at either store and it saves me money.  However, the BIG issue is this:  We have banks running amok in PREDATORY fashion.  We have enough predatory banks and are legitimately begging for a Royal Commission into the Banking Sector.  BEFORE the Government approves another banking licence in Australia, we need a thorough clean out of existing players and their predatory behaviour.

We have a current Senate Inquiry into ASIC's diabolical performance in the area of consumer protection re financial products. ASIC is in desperate need of a regulatory CLEAN-OUT.  Consumers of Financial Products have been bitten so hard by these players, they face loss of homes and have been robbed of their future - mostly in retirement.  ASIC needs a BIG DOWN DOWN read hand!   The Major Banks need a BIG DOWN DOWN.  We have predatory Retailers and the long suffering financial products and services consumer does not need MORE PREDATORY BANKERS.

Joe Hockey, the future Federal Treasurer has stated he will agree to a ROOTS and BRANCH INDEPENDENT INQUIRY into the Banking System.  We want to know when the R & B is scheduled to start please Joe.........the sooner the better!  No more bank licence approvals until the Inquiries have been done and dusted.

SAY NO TO RETAILERS BEING GRANTED BANKING LICENSES.  Who do we write to?  A BFCSA letter will be on its way! This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

    Same Old Same Old

What is with this country, why do we keep selling out. Is it not time POLLIES for us to go back to the drawing board the last 2 elections have seen the people vote in protest to what is being put in front of us NOTHING. We have no future plan in place and we keep pandering to the big multi-nationals believing what they create for us will carry us through as a nation. Well that is crap and it just shows a total lack of initiative allowing Banks and Multi-nationals to make all the decisions for us has lead us to the dismal state we now find this counrty in. FACT 3 million people did not vote in this election, splinter and minor parties picked up a much larger percentage of the primary vote than any of the major parties accounted for and that is a true reflection of the peoples feeling for where our country is going. To allow another Bank into the market place before the current Banking and Finance industry has been cleaned up would be nothing short of criminal. Mr Hockey has vowed and declared he wants and will back a ROOTS and BRANCH INDEPENDENT INQUIRY into our current BANKING SECTOR, the Senate is having an enquiry into the industry REGULATOR, that must tell us all something. YES THE INDUSTRY STINKS and is CROOKED TO THE CORE, so why would we want another player in the industry that have already shown us the regard they have for our own FARMERS. No way no more Bank or players in this arena until it has been bought into line. New banks DOWN, DOWN to that idea.

    Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB):

Joe, please establish a new consumer financial protection agency to focus directly on consumers; truly protect families from unfair, deceptive, and abusive financial practices, rather than ASIC 's shamelessly conflicted bias (malfeasance) favoured towards bank's nefarious interests against consumers, indeed ALL consumers.

A truly independent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) that would appropriately consolidate ALL Federal consumer financial protection authority in one place, for the people, by the people, and representative of the people.

It's mission is to make markets for consumer financial products and services work for Australians — whether they are applying for a mortgage, choosing among credit cards, or using any number of other consumer financial products.

The consumer bureau should be focused on one goal (only): that is, watching out for Australian consumers in the market for consumer financial products and services.

The agency would also have responsibility for supervision and enforcement with respect to the laws over providers of consumer financial products and services that escaped regular Federal (read ASIC. APRA. RBA. FOS. COSL. AOFM et al) oversight.

Joe, Mr treasurer -- we need you to establish the CFPB to replace ASIC's role in it's entirety, to properly protect consumers by carrying out federal consumer financial laws. Among other things, we need the CFPB to--

Write rules, supervise companies, and enforce federal consumer financial protection laws
Restrict unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices
    Take consumer complaints
    Promote financial education
    Research consumer behavior
Monitor financial markets for new risks to consumers
Enforce laws that outlaw discrimination and other unfair treatment in consumer finance

BFCSA should be a sub branch and receive government funding for doing ASIC and APRA's work.

The Pollies can stop Coles and Woolies from squeezing the farmers dry. They have the power to allow the farmers to make a reasonable profit. If this action continues all the small to medium farmers will walk off their land causing more hardship on the rural industry and bringing more burden to the Government. Coles and Woolies will keep on squeezing the farmers dry for the sake of selfish bigger profits. Once this action reaches saturation point, retail prices will soar and the public will suffer.
For this principle we rarely shop at these stores. The bulk of our shopping is done at independent and small privately owned businesses.

Stopping the big multi nationals is essential from taking over our country. Ejecting more Gov resources into encouraging and helping small businesses which are being squeezed out of the market just like the farmers. The competition is too great. Why can't the POLLIES see this? and if people's apathy continues, It will bring about the DOWN DOWN DOWNFALL and ruination of our country.
Thanks Pollies for the mess you have made of our once great country. You messed up big time so now fix it if you are capable.
