What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

Well no surprises hear!  COSL have sent me an email saying they will not be opening a complaint against PERPETUAL TRUSTEES VICTORIA LTD.

They continue to tell me I should deal with ADVANTEDGE FINANCIAL SERVICES who are my Mortgage Managers and that case of Fraud is closed because they (COSL) do not handle Fraud!

ADVANTEDGE have already sent you paperwork!

MY reply:I wish to make my complaint against PERPETUAL TRUSTEES VICTORIA (which clearly states on my contract and statements are my LENDER) for not supplying me the documents I have asked for.ADVANTEDGE  have not supplied me with the COMPLETE LAF for both loans nor have they provided me with the Service Calculator Sheet .They have also sent me someone elses loan contract and a copy of her title to her property all of which were in my VAULT!

COSL Reply: no case will be  opened against PERPETUAL TRUSTEES and if you wish you can contact  your legal aid office or if you have anything you wish to discuss you can contact me!


I didn`t realise they could refuse a case because I have dealt with the Mortgage Manager on a different subject. I wish to ask my LENDER for all documents seeing as the Mortgage Manager hasn`t provided me with all I have asked for.

WHO`S SIDE ARE COSL ON ?? Quite clearly not the consumer. Does anbody know of any case that COSL has handled go in the consumers favour ?

    None I don't think grandma, that's how biased they are and completely in favour of corrupt banking system. There is a women on the board of COSL who is some kind of legal consumer advocate, you have to ask the question what kind of agenda is she running. She certainly doesn't help consumers get their fair hearing in cases you only had to listen to her in the senate inquiry, she was basically telling borrowers with a grievance to go away and pester someone else. Weak and pathetic isn't it and we have to put up with it, this women will not help anyone.

    This is so disgraceful Grandma- I know it is daunting but phone your local paper and radio station- you need to get your story out to get some help- also legal aid may be able to help place an injunction on the flips to stop any house stealing while you gather more help- try ok, keep your strength up as much as you can- we all understand what your going through

    OMG it's the unleashing of a horror story! Wrong title in wrong name in your vault? That's a very big clue re what they have been up and what an unholy mess they have created for any data input in any computer system can only be as accurate as the person responsible for entering (or editing) that data which once there is there forever even if the file is deleted for it can be retrieved. Even if the the storage disk is shredded it is still possible for data retrieval (abeit a bit difficult) so it has to be buried somewhere to avoid detection and there are lots of companies listed who oblige for a fee. Demand copies of ALL valuations done AND ASK IF ANY DRIVE-BY VALUATIONS MIGHT HAVE BEEN DONE SINCE THEN MINUS YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND TELL THEM YOU BELIEVE THIS HAS NOW BECOME COMMON PRACTICE. Also ask for a copy of the property title lodged at the time of loan approval and if they tell you to contact the titles office in your state say no - I NEED A COPY OF THE TITLE LODGED AT THE TIME OF APPROVAL AND THE WHEREABOUTS IT HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO FROM THE TITLES OFFICE. They are the questions I was asking before mine was sold to get "property of the bank" or "none of your business" and then I did not even know I was a victim of maladministration and lies but I sure knew there was a lot of suspect information on property computer systems re my property and in Feb 2013 when on the market a whole of other listed properties had the same problem re expected selling prices and valuations being so incorrect (all over the place - courtesy of RAMS) it disappeared off the site within days due to all the furore it caused. That dirty big rat I was smelling before they forced my hand when I kept asking them questions is now so strong it's making me almost pass out!

    Hi Grandma, a friend of mine was working on a case that was suddenly closed based on an incorrect assumption and information from the Lender. Straightaway she wrote to the COSL Board and then it turned out that the case wasn't closed at all - very bizarre. Based on evidence they kept it open.
    It could be worth getting in touch with the Board of COSL or the person who replied to you. It could be a long shot but at least you'd have more information on why the case is seen as the same even though your complaint is about a different company. It could be a legal rule of some sort. If you don't mind, it could help some of us as well, if you can share the information.
    Another friend took his case to ASIC to get a case reviewed and there were changes possible, despite everyone saying the Determination is final.
    If you have been provided with the wrong Lender's paperwork for your COSL case that could be a reason for reconsideration of your case or application.
    I can understand how you'd be feeling. Unfortunately so much of this EDR business is trial and error. Sometimes it's like playing snakes and ladders!
