    Thankyou, Senator Eggleston

The Senate can be seen, not just heard. Wouldn't you think the Senators might have cared to stay and listen to Senator Eggleston, even to offer him support? His speech contained important information which could impact millions of Australians, not to mention the reputation of CBA and Australia internationally. Maybe they were all busy elsewhere on government business - who would know? Probably everyone else can read it in Hansard, if they're interested. It just sets a bad example to other Australians: why do our leaders appear to show so little respect to their fellows?
Just as the time when Senator Williams spoke to the ASIC Inquiry, the Senate just about empty again.
Is this a pattern? If so, what's the reason?
Total disinterest in the whys and wherefores of the Banking and Finance Industry, especially their wrongdoings?
ED: Chamber looks bare because all other Senators listen from their offices on monitors. Only required into the Chamber when bells ring to vote on issues. db

Was the reception of Senator Eggleton's speech to the Senate typifying the apathy of parliament to our plight? Where were the Senators?? Is there any one out there who really cares?

    Thank you Senator Eggleston

Thank you Senator Eggleston for taking the time and interest to personally present this information to the Parliament and Australian People . Bring on the Royal Commission into the Banking and Finance sectors to finally flush out the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Australians are losing their homes and businesses everyday these rorts are perpetrated by our Lenders and our so called Gov't "watchdogs" turn a blind eye to what's going on.

Senate Chamber looks bare because all other Senators listen from their offices on monitors. Senators only required into the Chamber when bells ring to vote on issues. They read trascript as well a few days later when issued. db

How damning was that? With the Senate all but empty it reeks of a lot more than just suspicion and to me most apparent nobody wants to become involved aside from a few brave Senators and ASIC are right in the thick of it all one, can bet their life on that! Nobody is safe from any Bank for they are all now so disgustingly interbred they are all equally dangerous. It’s just like the black plague - an armada of sinking ships filled with infected rats!

    Duped

Go for it Sean Butler, that way someone can explain how crooked the deception of banks are. Unless you have experienced corruption and deceit first hand it's hard for outsiders to understand the magnitude and extent banks will go to. It's Greed.
